Automate updating of Ruby gems
Problem
It becomes routine for us to update our Ruby gems, and it's quite easy to forget about updates. Automating this process could be helpful; we already utilize the Renovate bot for updating Ruby dependencies on Gitlab.com and other projects.
This issue has two possible outcomes listed below the table.
