"Your GitLab License File" e-mail notification provides incorrect information about the support services for EDU/OSS customer
Summary
Support services are not included into EDU/OSS licenses according to https://about.gitlab.com/solutions/education/ but the notification e-mail sent to them provides incorrect information, it says:
As a part of your paid subscription you are entitled to support.
You can find further details about what is included at https://about.gitlab.com/support
One of our customers was confused by it.
Steps to reproduce
- obtain EDU/OSS license via https://about.gitlab.com/solutions/education/
- wait for the e-mail containing the license
What is the current bug behavior?
EDU/OSS customers are given false expectations that support is included.
What is the expected correct behavior?
E-mails for EDU/OSS customers should be different e.g. they should say something like this:
GitLab support is not included with the educational license but it is available to education program members
at a discount for $4.95 per seat per month (95% off list price).
