Summary

Purchasing additional compute minutes for a GitLab.com namespace on an **Ultimate Trial for Paid Customer ** resets the namespace’s monthly compute minutes quota from the expected 50,000 minutes (trial quota) down to 400 minutes (Free quota). This has happened repeatedly for the same customer and is blocking their CI pipelines.

Steps to reproduce

  • Have a paid premium plan on a group
  • take out an Ultimate with Duo enterprise trial
  • Purchase minutes for the group

What is the current bug behavior?

The group's monthly quota is reverted to 400 minutes

What is the expected correct behavior?

The group's monthly quota should remain as 50K minutes
