[TC - 3] Delete existing account manager - not a bill to / sold to contact
Pre-requisite
remove_billing_account_members_and_pending_invites feature flag is enabled on CustomersDot Staging environment.
Test Scenario
For an eligible existing account manager, any other account manager can go ahead and revoke the acess which consequently removes the entry from the account manager list.
🧪 Test Steps
- Log in with an existing Billing Account Manager (let's call this Customer A) and navigate to the Billing Account Settings page (
/billing_accounts). - Click on the
Invite billing account managerbutton and ensure the email address entered within the popup is for an existing customer who is not an existing billing account manager in the system, send the invite. - Click on the invite link in the email associated with this new user (ensure you are logged into the new user's account - let's call this Customer B).
- A successful redemption should redirect to the billing_accounts page with a success notice -
Congratulations! You are now a manager for this billing account.. - Now log back in to the original (Customer A) account manager's credentials.
- Navigate to the billing accounts page (
/billing_accounts), we should see the new entry within the Billing Account Managers section with the name field filled out. - Click on the Remove button and follow up with the confirmation popup.
- The account manager privileges for Customer B have now been revoked.
- Log in back to Customer B's account and the account specific subscriptions should now not be visible or accessible.
