Rotate Gitlab.com Admin API Token

CustomerDot's Gitlab.com admin API token expires yearly. We need to rotate the token before it expires.

The current token is set to expire on January 22, 2026

Steps to rotate the token

  1. Open an access request to generate the new token (Examples 1, 2, 3, 4)
  2. Once the token has been generated, update the value in Rails credentials vault, following this guide
  3. Create an issue as a reminder to rotate the Admin API token with a due date 1 month before the newly generated token expires (Examples 1, 2)
  4. Create a Slack reminder in #g_fulfillment_platform to be triggered 1 month before the newly generated token expires (Examples 1, 2)
