Consider removing possibly redundant registry_database_queries_total metric

During this discussion I realized we did the same for the query count metrics where we currently have registry_database_queries_total and registry_database_query_duration_seconds metrics. We should evaluate whether to remove the former and rely on the later for all dashboards/alerts.
