See https://about.gitlab.com/support/ --> ## Summary We have a [request from Dedicated](https://gitlab.com/gitlab-com/gl-infra/gitlab-dedicated/team/-/work_items/11579#note_3132332544) to release a off-cycle 9.8.x patch for GitLab chart. This patch release would unblock Dedicated for Gov upgrading to the latest 18.8 CNG images. Context: The latest 19.8 and 19.9 CNG FIPS/UBI inadvertently ships gomplate 5, which GitLab chart 9.8/9.9 are not compatible with. A fix on the chart site was already merged and backported. ## Steps to reproduce We have to follow the steps detailed on https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/charts/gitlab/-/blob/master/doc/development/release.md#manually-releasing-the-chart to operate it
