Undeprecated Cache configuration has been removed in 16.0.0
Looks like this MR completely removed the runners.cache value.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this has removed the ability to configure runners.cache.secretname from the config as described in still current documentation here
Additionally, this subkey runners.cache.secretname was not previously marked as deprecated or on the list for deprecation that was mentioned in the MR - only the other subkeys above it, and the documentation still mentions the configuration, so I can only assume that either
- removing the entire value instead of just the deprecated subvalues which were marked as deprecated was an oversight which has broken cache functionality in the official helm chart
- support for this has been removed and documentation at https://docs.gitlab.com/runner/install/kubernetes.html#using-cache-with-configuration-template needs to be updated to reflect the new way to configure this
