Cache and how to update values.yaml on a Gitlab managed cluster in GCP
Disclaimer. I am new to Kubernetes.
I have created a Kubernetes cluster in GCP using the Gitab.com wizard. I have installed Helm Tiller and the Gitlab Runner from Gitlab.com.
My main goal is to use this cluster as a Gitlab runner for our group jobs. It worked fine until I realized that the cache wasn't working.
After some research, I've seen that people set up and S3 like storage for the cache. This can be configured through the
values.yaml. I've accessed the Kubernetes cluster console through GCP dashboard and I don't know where to place the
values.yaml. Gitlab.com documentation is lacking for this kind of configuration.
Hence I have a couple of questions:
- How I could achive enabling the cache for Gitlab runner in the above context?
- If changes de
values.yamlconfig is the only option how I can achieve it? :)
