3. Track work with issues
-
1. From your root group, navigate to the Overmatch Product > Web Client project -
2. Click Plan > Issuesto display the issues list view -
3. Click New issueto create a new issue. This is where we will build a user story for the team to implement -
4. Name the issue "Web Client Redesign" -
5. In the description, enter: "Update the web client design to something that doesn't make my eyes bleed in 2023" -
6. Optional: in the description field, include a picture of the current design by clicking the paperclipicon. You can use the "old-layout" image by clicking the "old-layout" design, and clicking thedownloadicon at the top of the screen. -
7. Assign the issue to yourself by clicking Assign to menext toAssignees -
8. Set an issue weight of 13. This is a general estimate which we will refine later (I used the fibbonaci sequence, but that's not required, any integer will work) -
9. We have not defined any epics, milestones, labels, or iterations yet, so leave those blank (we will add those later) -
10. Click Create issue -
11. Upload the new design by clicking click to uploadunder the description field. You can use the "new-layout" image by following step 6 above. -
12. Notice that designs are version controlled, so you can keep track of revisions as the issue evolves.
