5. Build boards to schedule work

  • 1. Navigate to the "Development" board for the "Overmatch Product" group: Plan > Issue Boards
  • 2. By default this board shows the "Open" and "Closed" columns, but let's customize it. We'll create scoped labels to define our organization's standard workflow
  • 3. Navigate to your root group
  • 4. Click Manage > Labels
  • 5. Click New label
  • 6. Enter "workflow::backlog" for the title and click Create label
  • 7. Repeat the same process for "workflow::development", "workflow::testing", and "workflow::accepted"
  • 8. Create regular (non-scoped) labels for "feature" and "bug"
  • 9. Navigate back to the "Development" board in the "Overmatch Product" group: Plan > Issue boards
  • 10. Click Create list. In the new column, leave the Scope set to Label, and select the "workflow::backlog" label from the Value dropdown. Click Add to board
  • 11. Repeat this process for the rest of our labels
  • 12. Drag the "Web Client Redesign" story to the "workflow::backlog" column
