Book club lessons

Sean McGivern requested to merge book-club-lessons into master

I picked out these feedback items from the survey to use. I added suggestions that (I hope!) nudge us in these directions in future:

More meetings to match varied time zones and schedules. We pretty much left out APAC. I was also frequently double booked so could not make the meetings. Having more meetings in different time zones even if it is only a subset of the group might have been a better way to facilitate discussion.

I struggle a bit with book clubs that stagger parts of the book as it makes me feel like I should not read past that chapter. That being said, I think it helps enormously as it focuses the conversation so you get more out of it. Perhaps having each part mapped out ahead of time so that the reading could be done asynchronously and then personally answer the questions before going on to next section, rather than needing to read one section within a given (possibly less free time) week. I also realize that that puts quite a bit more on the host!

Time zones are hard. In my ideal world, I'd like to see 3-4 instances of the book club run by organizers in different time zones. Then you're having 3-4 different discussions on the same subject, which could lead to real magic.

There's no audiobook for High Output Management and reading puts me to sleep so, I really only listen to books. Having a book that also has an audio book would be great.
