Update source/handbook/tools-and-tips/index.html.md

I found during on-boarding that these additions will help others who have not used Macs before joining GitLab. I looked at a couple of other locations to see where to add them and the Tool/tips page seemed to make the most sense as it is referenced on Day 1 of on-boarding.
