Why is this change being made?

This change is being made to clarify the internal candidates's responsibilities prior to applying to an internal role. Updating this page in the handbook for consistency with other sections that require internal candidates to have a conversation with their current manager or PBP prior to submitting an application for an internal position.

Author Checklist
