Increase the prominence of gitlab hosted projects on about.gitlab

I think the gitlab landing page may be missing the point...

The rock stars are the developers logging in each day and pushing code to their projects on gitlab. These teams deserve a much larger (currently nonexistent) place on the landing page.

Possible fixes:

1. Add project search (already ticketed) #300 (closed)
2. Add a trending projects widget
3. Add a bigish link to the projects/explore
4. Create a human curated spotlight into cool projects hosted on here
