Redis Rapid Action
This issue is to organize an effort within the development department to take pressure off the Redis cache ASAP since it's the current source of our performance degradation. We're looking for managers and senior IC's to make the recommendation for their area of the code as they have the ground truth and will make the right technical decisions about what to prioritize.
One member of each backend engineering team in the Dev and CI/CD sections will take on a new issue as soon as their current work is done and address the most Redis-heavy operation in their application-level code. Additionally, they should create backlog issues to address any other Redis-heavy operations in their code they come across for later prioritization.
