Working towards becoming a maintainer

This is not a checklist, but guidelines that will help you become a maintainer. Remember that there is no specific timeline on this, and that you should work together with your manager and current maintainers.

In general authoring and reviewing 3 - 10 MRs that demonstrate good overall understanding of existing codebase and framework is required. You could seek out more opportunities to work on framework improvements by asking on the #quality Slack channel.

Your reviews should aim to cover maintainer responsibilities as well as reviewer responsibilities. Your approval means you think it is ready to merge.

@vincywilson I have linked all I can find. Sadly I can not check your checkboxes but I can do my own. All in all, I am done with the Gitlab /qa project and for Gitlab-QA I am not sure since I have authored enough MR's that do change some substantial stuff so I am not sure if the first and last point can be achieved with the same MR's?
