Discussion: What are different methods we can use to develop team members to reduce their MTTM?

Purpose

For our OKRs, we are often committing to increasing our MR Throughput. Well a metric that directly affects the MR Throughput is the Mean Time To Merge (MTTM).

The best way to improve throughput, or reduce MTTM is to coach/develop our team members.

There is no one size fits all solution. I think the solution lies in building custom coaching plans for our team members. I thought that we could share tips with each other to share ideas for different tips or approaches we have taken or think we would like to take to support developing our team members to work more iteratively.

What am I being asked to do?
