FYI @dsatcher - Say/Do analysis above for Q2 in Source Code BE
- Author Maintainer
Where do I get this data?
- Filter the Say/Do dashboard by Source Code and the relevant milestone
- Scroll down to the "All Direction Items" table at the bottom
- It's important to use this table since the charts above it may reflect that an issue was closed even if it was closed in a different milestone
- Open each issue in the "All Direction Items" table
- I do this because some of these issues are frontend only, but most importantly because they will reflect the milestone you've used, even if they were not assigned as Deliverable in that milestone
- Of the issues opened, if they included backend and were slipped in the release that they were expected to ship in as a Deliverable, add them to the total

gitlab-org/gitlab#220104 (closed) was actually blocked the whole milestone, so I am removing that from the calculation as well.

- gitlab-org/gitlab#232478 (closed) has been closed for backend
- gitlab-org/gitlab#237921 (closed) is using the same endpoint for frontend as gitlab-org/gitlab#216054 (closed) so I am removing it from the list (does not include backend)
- gitlab-org/gitlab#220104 (closed) is still blocked and possibly needs to go to groupgitaly
- gitlab-org/gitlab#198458 (closed) is also being worked by frontend rather than backend, so I am removing that as well

Okay, I didn't realize today was the end of the quarter. For some reason I thought %13.5 would be part of this key result, but it isn't.This is the actual table used in determining the progress for this key result, I am going to keep the description the same for understanding what happened here:13.2 13.3 13.4 100% 100% 83% Update: Wrong - I was confused because of the fiscal year

3 of these are pretty complex and are already at risk:
- gitlab-org/gitlab#227572 (closed) will need a Gitaly change, which I believe groupsource code will be making (so will take longer)
- gitlab-org/gitlab#220104 (closed) got delayed due to a performance issue on merge request discussions (next item), hopefully we can still do this work within the release, but it is unfortunate that 1 engineer had 2 direction items this release.
- gitlab-org/gitlab#209784 (closed) - this is a multi-milestone change and has only just began frontend work, so new problems have cropped up.
- Author Maintainer
gitlab-org/gitlab#216438 (closed) just barely slipped, and the above-mentioned 3 have also slipped.
