Trainee Maintainer issue cleanup retrospective

Problem to solve

In looking at the trainee maintainer issues that had been open for more than 6 months, there were several patterns that became evident. These patterns should be addressed in an effort to not have trainee maintainer issues pending for such a long period of time.

This data is aggregated from the list of trainee maintainer issues to show the reasons reported as to why trainee maintainer issues have been delayed (some overlap between groups):

• Work in progress: 10
• Not enough significant reviews: 8
• Ongoing but needs specific experience: 4

Action

Asynchronous retrospective with Team Members, Frontend and Backend managers, Senior Managers, and Directors how we could improve this process by looking for solutions to these top three delays in trainee maintainer issues. Ideally we can look at ways to address these top 3 delays.
