Standardize Promotion Document Template for the Create Teams
What is being proposed
This is a proposal for all promotions to use the same standardized template for promotion documentation.
Why is this proposal being made?
This proposal is being made to:
Improve transparency and efficiency:
- A standard template will eliminate the need for guesswork or additional searching
Improves results:
- The template will ensure a high quality promotion document by defining the structure required to create a comprehensive, complete promotion document
Improves collaboration and supports diversity:
- Improves morale because team members will see that this issue will remove bias from the promotion process by standardizing the sections that will be required for all promotion documents. Every promotion will have the same components.
What will be the impact of this proposal
There should be less confusion across the Create Teams related to the format and required sections for a Promotion Document.
How will it be implemented?
When Managers are working on promotions for team members they will submit their promotion recommendation using this standard template.
Who does this proposal impact?
This template would be used for promotions to Create Stage Senior or Staff positions only.
When will this proposal go into effect?
Any current promotions currently inflight would not be effected. All new promotions within the Create Stage would follow this new standardized format.
