What is the primary project goal?
Immediate Goals: 1) Gain awareness of Gitlab features for remote work, 2) prime for SDR team follow-up
What are the other project goals?
- Improve information discoverability.
- Improve time-on-site.
- Connect other All-remote resources
What information is this project trying to convey?
Webpage EPIC for more information
- A thought leader in remote work, because of our experience as the world's largest all-remote company with a wealth of resources, knowledge and experience.
- GitLab as a tool that can aid remote DevOps workers as well as other departments that work in a tech company that would benefit from being on a single platform for PM
- Empower your team to thrive remotely
- At GitLab, our all-remote team works from 65+ countries to build the leading collaboration tool for DevOps.
- GitLab enables GitLab to be all-remote. Discover everything we have learned.
Who is the primary audience?
Target audience/persona: IT/App Dev leaders and managers responsible for software delivery
Who are the other audiences?
- Potential Media
- C-level execs of tech companies trying to have all their departments on one tool
- Existing GitLab users that don't know about all the features for remote work
Are there any pain-points related to this project?
We want to help qualify leads between "remote only" or "could use GitLab effectively for remote work".
What are the Key Performance Indicators (KPI)?
- Views of Demo video
- Downloads of Remote Playbook for devops
What are the project must-haves?
- Consistency in headlines to title case or sentence case (DONE)
- Clean up any misalignment
- Update header image
- MVC: Add relevant CTA and link to
allremote.info
for those looking for just remote resources (bottom of page probably)
What are the project should-haves?
- Updated look & feel
- Improved navigation
What are the project could-haves?
- Ways to help qualify the leads (example: on our main home page we ask "What is your biggest DevOps Dilema". We could use something like that to see if these are people that just want remote tips and tricks (send to all-remote page, not a MQL) or if they want information about a PM tool (drive to watch demo, not a high-scoring lead), want to put more people onto GitLab (drive to watch demo, MQL)
What are the project wont-haves?
- Pathfactory
Where do you expect traffic to come from?
- Promotion on targeted podcast
- Organic social
- Targeted display ads
- Press
Will you need an opengraph image for social sharing?
Becky: will this override other images we make? If yes, then don't make. If no, then we should make one.
If relevant, please provide some example webpages for design guidance.
If applicable, do you have any user journeys, prototypes, content/data?
@sbouchard1 tagging you here for this based on previous conversations (we can work through this)
- Funnel scoring issue (remote only v. remote for GitLab)
Please note any regression risks requiring validation before release
N/A at this time
Please create a checklist of deliverables in this phase
Will update once we discuss in the call
