Blog Post: GitLab Service Desk in a nutshell
Blog proposal
It's been 6 years since we showcased the capabilities of GitLab Service Desk. The product has evolved a lot and we should demonstrate customers in an easily consumable overview blog post what Service Desk is. This blog post will be accompanied by an overview video that will cover the same features. This video will also be part of the Service Desk documentation.
A first collection of features to walk through:
- Custom email
- Support in the tool you already know
- Perfect for SMBs and solopreneurs
- Internal comments
- Collaboration across the DevOps lifecycle (agile planning, MRs, deployment, releases)
- Note templates
- multiple external participants (preview)
- Automation using gitlab-triage
- Hackable: Add CRM info with scheduled CI/CD pipeline
There is also a more detailed concept for a product showcase video Introducing GitLab Service Desk (gitlab-org/incubation-engineering/service-desk/meta#21)
