Blog: Observability for Efficient DevSecOps Pipelines
Triage (REQUIRED)
Please note that there is a different process for when you want to announce something via the blog. Please see announcement requests in the handbook and open an announcement request issue instead of a blog post issue.
Proposal

Continuous integration and delivery/deployment help speed up development and review workflows. Developers focus on code and rely on the application reliably tested in different environments. Environment and dependencies break, and things are stuck. Stalled pipelines, significant resource costs, security leaks, and broken dependencies make production deployments challenging.
This talk takes you from the first steps of a working but inefficient pipeline into the root cause analysis on possible performance and resource issues. New observability methods with OpenTelemetry and eBPF will be uncovered to look deeper into CI/CD pipelines instrumentation, tracing and profiling. Infrastructure cost optimization and capacity planning together with a little help from AI will enable greater efficiency.
