Blog post - Introducing new typefaces in GitLab
Triage (REQUIRED)
Please note that there is a different process for when you want to announce something via the blog. Please see announcement requests in the handbook and open an announcement request issue instead of a blog post issue.
Proposal
We're transitioning from system fonts to specifically use Inter and JetBrains Mono in the GitLab UI. Changes like this can be subjective, and this post helps to introduce the changes along with highlighting some of the decisions made along the way. A draft post has been started as part of gitlab-org/gitlab-design#2168 (closed), but an MR will be opened shortly to continue the process.
