FY22-Q4 UX KR: Help build internal empathy for users by creating and piloting an EdCast training that shows users interacting (and struggling) with our product
We are curating research videos to share with our stable counterparts as part of an Empathy Building training program launching in FY23-Q1. The idea is to have more GitLab team members witness users experiencing our product.
Step 1: Designers to locate and submit a 1-2 minute video of a participant (user of GitLab) interacting and struggling with our product. Examples should be relevant and of the production environment. Upload your video to GitLab Unfiltered and set it as Private as these are external participants and we do not have the authorization to share publicly. Add your video to the Building Empathy
Playlist. Videos need to be uploaded no later than 2022-01-07. Please do not wait until the last minute so there is enough time to put together the training and pilot it prior to Q1. After you add your video check off your name below.

💡 I also uploaded the long version of the above videos which has more context, but was unsure if it was too long or if we want to mention competitors. Feel free to use this instead of part 1 & 2 above if it makes more sense to you. Video here.
