A11y action > Incorporate accessibility into MVC definition

Proposal

Determine how to incorporate inclusive design principles and accessibility into the MVC definition.

Background

MVC should be as universal as possible. MVC doesn’t just mean it works for me, works on desktop, works only with a mouse, it should be all of those things and other use cases and modalities.

I don’t think this is limited to GitLab, but I find that in digital work that assumes future updates will happen it can be easy to push accessibility-type enhancements, features, or thinking down the road to the next milestone, rather that starting with the most simple solution that works for everyone right away. This might mean certain features are traded for certain capabilities until an accessible solution can be created.
