Product Development Flow satisfaction survey: Q1 FY22

What's this issue all about? (Background and context)

We did a re-design of the pd-flow in Q4 FY21. To assess whether we successfully solved the problems we'd like to re-survey.

What are the overarching goals for the research?

  • Understand how the current Product Development workflow is meeting the needs of the cross-functional team and what further improvements are needed on a regular basis.

What hypotheses and/or assumptions do you have?

If we identify the pros/cons of the current process, we can improve further in smaller iterations, quarterly.

What research questions are you trying to answer?

  • Understand if Product Management, Product Designers, Technical Writers, UX Researchers, and Engineers (Sec and Quality) are happier with the latest version of the pd-flow
  • Understand if the teams above all are aware of and reference the pd-flow
  • Understand if we have resolved the previous pain points and/or introduced new ones
  • Understand what if any pain points should be addressed next

What persona, persona segment, or customer type experiences the problem most acutely?

Product Managers, Product Designers, TWs, SW Engineers, Quality engineers, App Sec Engineers, UX Researchers

What business decisions will be made based on this information?

Product Development flow will be adjusted and updated to ensure all are benefiting from the new framework.
