FY22-Q1 KR: Every Infra Dept Member has at least one career development discussion => 100%
Overview
A key element of Career Development is a recurring conversation between manager and team member to evaluate opportunities, understand career goals, and receive guidance on useful next steps. Team Members own their career development activities, but managers help facilitate opportunities.
A key piece of feedback in the Nov 2020 Culture Amp survey was a need for better understanding of future career growth opportunities. It is the intent of this KR is to ensure that discussions around Career Development are occuring and to implement a minimum recurring cadence between manager and team member.
Note: for team members managed by an interim manager the focus of this initial conversation should be preparing a written statement which will be helpful to a future new manager in understanding current career role, future aspiration, and immediate next steps.

Each manager implements a method to ensure that a focused career development discussion occurs with each team member on at least a quarterly basis. The method to achieve this recurring focus is left to the manager based on their preference. -
Conduct a survey before the end of April to gauge the effectiveness of recent discussions and understand future potential improvements.(decided on Apr 6 to push this forward)
