This repository needs an owner

This repository has been without an owner for some time so in line with the short toes section of our collaboration value, I'm opening this issue to take ownership of this repository.

I'll add it to the SWIR before moving anything forward. If anyone has any comments please leave them here.

My aim is just to maintain stability, and cleanup some of the issues (some created by myself), not propose any major changes going forward as it functions great as-is.
