Dormant Group Namespaces - Procedure Discussion
Currently the Dormant Username Policy focuses on verification of usage at the account/user level. Specifically the checklist used in the policy to determine whether or not a username should be available for release is user-centric.
In this example, the group namespace was created in 2015 and there are no projects or data attached. However, the user/owner is active on other projects so the Dormant Username request fails.
What does @dotcom-support think about this? Do we need a specific checklist for Dormant Group Namespaces or should the fact that the user is active give them the right to squat on the group name?
