Realign Support Managers as stage counterparts
As a part of #2360 (closed) I put a KR to re-align support managers as product stage counterparts.
I did not do this, but it's also not necessarily hard to do.
We currently have the following folks aligned to Sections
- Dev: Shaun
- Ops: Lee / Lyle
- Secure & Defend: Tom Atkins
- Growth: Shaun
- Enablement: Jason
... but I don't know that this is strictly operating in practice.
It seems like it would be better to shrink the room to the DevOps Stage:
- Manage
- Plan
- Create
- Verify
- Package
- Release
- Configure
- Monitor
- Secure
- Defend
- Growth
- Enablement
But I'm particularly interested in @vijirao 's take on the best way to build support readiness for these different product areas using a combination of Managers and ICs as counterparts.
Success in this issue could look like:
- sensible alignment of managers
- clear expectations for what those managers should be doing as counterparts
But, I don't want to naively assign individuals to stages and have no result of that assignment.
