Description of the problem

My company just recently switched from GitHub to GitLab in the Bronze plan. While we're overall pretty happy there's one thing which is super annoying: When doing search it only searches through code if a particular project is selected, but not if if we do a group wide search. I'm not sure if this is a bug or a missing feature, either way I would have expected something like that to be available at least in paid plans (also given that its available in the paid on-premise plans according to this feature overview: https://about.gitlab.com/products/).

So my question is: Am I missing something or is this really not available on gitlab.com? If not when will this become available on gitlab.com? Are there any other external solutions or workarounds?
