How can we speed up time to hire with engineering roles?
The job market for engineers is hot right now. Upon a deep dive into our Glassdoor interview feedback and our candidate survey we notice a common trend in the comments:
- process takes too long
- lack of communication between interviews
- no feedback and automated rejection even after lots of interviews
- screening should include comp discussion and skills (tech)
We can't afford to continue to have long timeframes for apply to accept in engineering. Backend IC average for the year - 58 days Frontend IC average for the year - 71 days Recruiting KPI <30
I'd love to brainstorm ideas on how we can reduce time to hire, specifically in engineering roles.
