Create “journal” issue for onboarding new UX team members
(Didn't know where to create this issue. If this is not the right location, feel free to move it.)
When you onboard a new employee, give them a journal so they can catalog their experience. — https://mobile.twitter.com/danmall/status/1060542893692256258
We have people onboarding now and will have even more in the future. With a “journal” issue (or something similar), we could get a better sense of the good, bad, and improvements to make in that process. Like retro issues, this issue could be confidential (until close or forever) so people can be encouraged describe their thoughts and feelings.
Check out this great example of a team-specific onboarding issue (specifically the "On-boarding experience summary" section): https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/distribution/team-tasks/issues/179
