Roles & Responsibilities (DCI) / Capacity Planning
Background
To gather alignment on roles and responsibilities of Localization, TW, and Vendor teams. Role of DCI chart is to capture action items in one place to ensure production of outcomes has an outlined DRI and clear expectations of consulted / informed counterparts. Once this is determined, team will inform strategy based on team capacity. Where there is not alignment / additional capacity, implications will be discussed and recorded.
Goal
As a team, we will need to ensured we are aligned on who is the DRI, Consulted, and Informed stakeholders to inform tactical next steps and tracking to delivering of localized Japanese docs site and an informed translation ecosystem.
Roles and Responsibilities
DCI chart outlined and confirmed with Localization and Technical Writing Team.
Current Capacity (TW)
- 1 monthly meeting internally (pre-populated agenda)
- 1 monthly meeting with the vendor with Spartan (pre-populated agenda)
- Async communications where your team is either DRI / C
- Engineering resources will be greater in early FY26, but not prior due to capacity (this may be a budget concern, but may make sense with the timeline Spartan gave)
All these elements noted above are our current state of capacity, will further be determined and discussed as needed.
