# gstg-cny deploy blocked - package not indexed on PackageCloud (Severity 3) **Problem**: Deploys to the gstg-cny environment were failing at the prepare stage due to the pipeline using a defunct PackageCloud API endpoint to check for package availability in the `gstg-cny-prepare` CI job. **Impact**: All deployments to the gstg-cny environment were blocked at the prepare stage, preventing any new deployments from proceeding. **Causes**: The deployment pipeline's prepare stage was still checking the PackageCloud API for Omnibus packages even though these have been hosted on Pulp since release 18.10.0. This legacy check was failing, which blocked all deployments. **Response strategy**: We reverted the change that stopped uploading pre-release packages to PackageCloud, and the Omnibus Revert merge request was merged.
