# Users reporting 403 Forbidden responses when downloading packages (Severity 3) **Problem**: Users received 403 Forbidden responses when attempting to download packages. **Impact**: Multiple users were unable to download packages due to 403 Forbidden errors. At least two support tickets were raised, and logs showed a spike in 403 errors affecting additional groups. All affected users can now download packages successfully. **Causes**: A recent code change caused users to receive 403 Forbidden errors when downloading packages. **Response strategy**: We reverted the code change that caused the issue. The fix has been merged, deployed, and confirmed in production.
