2023-01-31: docs.gitlab.com sending 404

Current Status

For approximately 40 minutes, from 09:40 to 10:30 https://docs.gitlab.com was returning 404 errors for all users. This site is hosted on GitLab Pages, but at this time we do not believe any other sites were affected.

📝 Summary for CMOC notice / Exec summary:

1. Customer Impact: All requests to https://docs.gitlab.com were returning 404 errors for approximately 40 minutes
2. Service Impact: ServicePages
3. Impact Duration: 09:40 - 10:30 (40min)
4. Root cause: It appears that the 404 errors were seen on application start after a deploy, but we aren't sure at this time the reason. gitlab-org/gitlab-pages#827 (closed) will be used to continue that root cause investigation.
