Disk space utilization in gitaly nodes (cny stage) predicted to reach capacity within 6h (Severity 4 (Low))

Problem: Disk space usage on the gitaly-cny node increased quickly and was predicted to reach capacity within 6 hours.

Impact: There was no customer impact, and the disk space is no longer at risk of reaching capacity.

Causes: The disk space increase was due to a user creating a large git repository while testing for a different incident.

Response strategy: The user who created the large repository agreed to remove it, and there is no ongoing threat of disk space running out.
