We started getting cluster_scaleup errors recently, mostly related to eneric-shared-storage-mem-n2d-multi-ssd nodepool in all the zones of us-east1. GCP team replied back on a support case (https://console.cloud.google.com/support/cases/detail/v2/62030115?inv=1&invt=Ab4-5Q&project=gitlab-production) and suggested to look into alternative machine types for generic-shared-storage-mem-n2d-multi-ssd nodepool (Currently using n2d-standard-16 ) or look into reserving (baseline) instances of this machine type.
