Configure OpenVPN to use Internal DNS
One of the elements to making VPN successful is the correct routing and resolution of traffic when you're connected via the VPN. To that end we will install the internal DNS servers into the VPN configuration so that all clients connected via VPN can resolve DNS names recursively as well as provide internal answers to DNS.
-
Modify the gitlab_openvpn
cookbook to hand out Internal DNS Servers. -
Verify through a connection round that internal DNS is being handed out.
