We are holding AMAs for all team members who are currently onboarding, and I've linked the course in the agenda to continue to socialize it out and gather feedback.
I've commented on all current open IM onboarding issues to let team members know about the course, and opened an MR to add it to the onboarding issue template.
Description
We've identified an opportunity to improve the way new Incident Managers are being onboarded. We can leverage the new LevelUp learning platform to create a video course that uses the existing material that is in the handbook, runbook and the onboarding issue to act as an adjunct to the onboarding issue. This will organize the materials into one place, as well as offer the opportunity for differing learning styles to engage with the materials in visual and auditory format.
This process was started last fall in partnership with Seth Berger.
