Consider how Registry CDN should contribute to aggregated/component service level indicators.
In &657 (closed) we are introducing a new infrastructure component, a CDN load balancer in front of Registry. Currently this component is not taken into consideration as part of our aggregated service level metrics.
Because this is a Google load balancer we are limited to StackDriver exporter metrics, we have the following metrics:
More generally, we need to be sure we are alerted (SRE is paged) if the CDN stops functioning altogether. I think there will be two parts to this:
- Decide if we should create a
cdn/storagecomponent with key metrics - Decide if we should incorporate the CDN into our aggregated service level indicators
