Check registry staging DB setup

Before we start testing the Container Registry with the new metadata database on Staging we should check that the registry staging DB is ready to be used and collect configuration data needed to setup registry to use the DB.

Check for

• db console access
• gkms vault being setup with db credentials
• db password working to connect to the DB
• primary pgbouncer hostname: pgbouncer-registry.int.gstg.gitlab.net (master.patroni-registry.service.consul in consul)
• consul replica DNS entry: replica.patroni-registry.service.consul.
• DB tuning (connection pool size)
• DB grants, tables, privileges
