Rollout the API service in our non-prod kubernetes clusters

Utilize this issue to track the necessary work to enable Kubernetes in our non-prod environments to taking API traffic. This issue can be closed when we can safely remove the API fleet of servers from these environments.

Milestones

  • Dedicated API fleet created in our non-prod clusters
  • preprod is taking in API traffic
  • Staging is taking in API traffic
  • API VM fleet is removed from our haproxy configurations
