Canonical deploy can fail to track if more than 100 commits are added after the auto-deploy commit
https://ops.gitlab.net/gitlab-org/release/tools/-/jobs/1884553 failed to find an auto-deploy intersection for gitlab-org/[email protected], even though it existed on Canonical.
This happened because we only gather the first 100 Canonical commits, and the commit we were looking for had been pushed to the second page by new commits.
This is resolved in gitlab-org/release-tools!1188 (merged).
As a result we didn't track a Canonical deploy of
13.4.202009181850-c6478b70ede.010759e79e8, and when we created the stable branches, it used the prior commit, gitlab-org/[email protected].
