Background

This issue is document, share and track 30-60-90 goals as a Senior Product Designer. Start date November 1, 2025 but given the projects ongoing (fine-grained PATs) and time-off planned I'm proposing to start this in %18.9

First 30 days - learning access control mechanism (%18.9)

• Learn about Policy Based Access Control (PBAC) and Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) competitor (started here)
• Companies to review: AWS, ServiceNow, Salesforce (Ops team, all controls they use), Azure
• Log screenshots in the security landscape library

60 days - identify a permission pattern and document guidelines in Pajamas (%18.10)

• Identify one permission access pattern needed to standardize or document in Pajamas.
• Pattern option: ways in which user is notified when more permissions is needed to action on a feature, inheritance of role, permission selection

90 days - continue building adjacent group knowledge (%18.11)

• 1 - Adjacent knowledge expansion: Understand how Authorization decisions impact Sec Policies and Compliance workflows
• Log workflow overlaps in journey maps

Bonus 90 days:

• Audit which settings are authorization decisions (Tenant Scale team has started on this)
