Housekeeping: Markdown Consistency
Much like code, Markdown benefits from following consistent rules.
Many of the rules are documented in the style guide: https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/development/documentation/styleguide.html.
This issue tracks housekeeping the documentation suite so that every markdown file follows the same set of rules.
