   1. Take time to enjoy the ride. I have traveled almost all of my career and missed out on so many great opportunities. You don’t have to rush back to the hotel to get more work done every night. Take a walk. Learn more about the culture. Stay a day later and sightsee. Go out with the local team. This perspective has changed the way I view work travel for the better.
